Locked away in Freedom, Drowning

Free, yet claustrophobic.

Exposed as you drown.

Your weaknesses are shown to everybody, as if you were exposed, but you're, at the same time, trapped.

Trapped in poisonous freedom, drowning as you grasp the light, only to sink further.

You can't breathe, there's nowhere to run, no walls to curl up to, and nothing but darkness.

You try to be strong, you pretend you're alright, you say there's nothing wrong, you try to stand alone, you want to fight your own battle, so you don't call for help.

You fear, that if you call for help, nobody will come.

So here you are, locked away in freedom, drowning.

Ragger's Creed

I would be true, for there are those who trust me;
I would be pure, for there are those who care;
I would be strong, for there is much to suffer;
I would be brave, for there is much to dare;
I would be friend to all - the foe, the friendless;
I would be giving, and forget the gift;
I would be humble, for I know my weakness;
I would look up, and laugh, and love and lift.
